Long read: I realized recently that I have been using this forum as a tool without contributing to the vast knowledge it contains. I have had this 5-speed manual 1990 240 DL for 5 years. It is in good condition and drives well, but is no longer practical for my lifestyle. It has ~235k miles. Here is the work I’ve had done in the last 5 years: - Transmission replaced at 210k (from salvage vehicle with 130k miles) - New clutch at 210k - Catalytic converter replaced at 220k (passes CO/CA emissions) - New fuel pumps at 220k - Replaced mass air flow sensor at 234k - Oil changes every 3k miles - Maintenance done by Volvo...
