• 1FZF carburetor gasket question

  Hi all, Replacing the heat insulator on the bottom of my 1FZF carb. Ordered the insulator and it came with two metal gaskets - top and bottom. My current one had RTV on them which was a right nightmare to remove, but somehow just metal gaskets also feels a little suspicious (so I can understand why the original work was done with RTV, but it wasn’t Toyota work I think).   Since I do a lot of mountain driving and the LC250 lacks engine braking, I wanted to get a little bigger rotor with more mass. I was hoping Toyota was going to have off the shelf, bolt-on parts like they have in the past and after doing my research, they do. The GX550 has the brakes I wanted.   Okay I know pretty much nothing on engines so wondering if anyone else has had this issue or knows what a fix could be? I bought a 2012 Ram about a year ago and only have 31k miles. I usually go to valvoline for oil changes because it's convenient. The other day I brought it in and the tech pulled out my air filter and showed me about half of it was covered in oil.   Hi, everybody I have an automatic 3.0 24V '95 960 (facelift), strictly stock, VIN YV1965956S102xxxx, which torque converter I'd like to lock not only in gears 3 and 4 but also in 2nd (even 1st?). I dislike the way the throttle pedal feels connected to revs but not to car acceleration. It ruins a bit an otherwise fabulous ride experience.   Hi I am looking for some advice. For context, I am currently driving a 2022 Toyota Highlander Limited AWD. I have 2 kids, aged 9 and 11. On some occasions, I have had to use the third row for transporting other kiddos from sports.
