I've been a bit critical of Honda's hybrid system in the past, especially in the Accord and the CRV. The Civic? That's an entirely different animal. Why? Well, long story short, because nothing else in this segment is as quick or as fun, and that includes the elusive turbo options. To be honest, I'm still uncertain why Honda hasn't tried to make some sort of Si alternative with this system under the hood...
