  Hi All, I am retro fitting an aftermarket camera into the factory automated pop out on my 2009 Cayenne Turbo S. I have an aftermarket head unit which is the pioneer DMH-WT8600nex. I have successfully integrated it into the Porsche system including the fiber optic and I now have remotely run wires for the new retrofitted pioneer BC-10 camera into the mechanical body. I reconnected the PCM temporarily to re-enable the backup camera pop out and then pulled fuse 55 to reset the system because I couldn't find the setting...   I do not know the cause but there is metal in the oil. I had the IMS bearing replaced 4 years ago but sadly the warrantee has expired. I had a 60k mile check up at a Porsche dealer less than 2K miles ago but they missed it and claim to have no obligation. Sad... Option 1: Replace the engine. $25k to $30 is my best guess Option 2: Sell it as is Thoughts? Advice?

  Porsche use to have a sticker on the inside of the hood which, if I remember correctly had the vin and other identification number for the car & options. Does Porsche put that on anymore - the sticker? My ‘06 had it but not the new 992.2 I just picked up. Tks!

  Hi everyone, I’m working on a 1996 Porsche 911 (993) Turbo, and I’m currently having a problem with the factory alarm/immobilizer system. The car had been exposed to water, and several electrical control modules/PCBs were affected by water intrusion. I have already removed, cleaned, and dried the affected circuit boards, and there are no obvious signs of corrosion remaining.   2016 Macan S Ignition Coils Hi all. Changing plugs for 1st time at 52k miles and seems I should change coils as well. In addition to Porsche Genuine, several options available-Bremi, APR, Beru. Any recommendations?
