- Absolute JUNK? This 2023 Nissan Rogue 1.5L VC-Turbo Engine FAILED At Just 43,000 Miles!
I Do Cars · I Do Cars · 26 Jul 2026
For parts visit http://www.Importapart.com or http://www.Pro-Rebuild.com Today we have yet ANOTHER failed 1.5L variable compression engine from a 2023 Nissan Rogue. This is the THIRD KR15DDT I've had on the channel and their premature failure is becoming unsurprising. There are currently two recalls on this engine, the main one covering the connecting rod bearings but if there's one thing I've learned tearing down so many engines, any engine can fail in any way. So, with 43K miles on the clock, what happened to this one? Why was this replaced instead of repaired? These are all questions we wi…
