I understand the standard tire size for the vehicle 205/45R17 for the 17in wheels, but I purchased a 215/50R17. Once I started to drive it I felt the regen was off. The larger tire was amazing difference with the pot holes and bumps in the city, but I feel the regen is off. Is this possible? Has anyone changed the size of the tires to a larger one?

I am seriously considering buying a new Ford Transit 250 extended length high roof with the ecoboost for towing my race car. I would like to make it a mini RV so I have minimal comfort at the race track. I can stand upright in this van. I currently tow with a 2004 Ford E250 van. Tows fine but zero comfort in the back.
