Hey, I'm new to this forum. I have a 2020 civic si coupe. I recently had a new clutch put in (march 2024) Clutchmaster fx100 with single mass flywheel. My old clutch was on its way out. 25k miles at the time of changing it out. It is also my first manual car. 1 week ago I installed new cmc, clutch line, and slave cylinder by ktuned. No delay valves in cmc or slave cylinder. After 500 mile break in i was experiencing high rpm lockout when attemptingto go full throttle. (5600+rpm = no... High RPM lockout

Just purchased my 2018 Civic Type R a couple months ago, used. I heard a creaking noise when slowing down or turning left at lower speed. I checked everything. Figured out I had a PRL RMM. Then I suspected maybe a trans mount issue, due to the trans having been replaced 20,000 miles ago. Long story short, I think they forgot something important and I cant find the part number. Its the bolt that holds the two mount pieces together. Can anyone help me, I have been searching part catalogues... Need advice on bolt for Transmissions mount on FK8.

I did some highway roll racing last night, with my buddy's "new to him" 2023 Mustang GT (he has intake/exhaust - no tune yet), and he got a couple car lengths off the hop each time, but as soon as the turbo spooled he wasn't gaining anything more. Repeated the same thing 3 times. Not bad for 1.5L vs 5.0L!

I've been thinking about building a CAN BUS sniffer to decode the CAN BUS. Has anyone here been able to play with the vehicle's CAN BUS? Any tables with CAN BUS commands or anything available? I'm interested in potentially doing an engine swap. I don't want to completely obliterate the stock electronic systems since I'm not making a race car. Hey everyone, so for some context, this is my 2017 honda civic touring with the 1.5T motor in it, my question is, is this something I need to be concerned about? I’ve heard horror stories about head gaskets going out on these and seeing the unusual amount of smoke pour out on startup has me kind of worried. I’ve searched a lot of threads here and found some info. I’m particularly wanting to know if my knock control values are ok in my 2020 civic sport 2.0 NA. I’ll post a data log later but just want preliminary responses based off the info I can give. Knock values are in .7-.9 occasionally over 1.0. I drive in S mode with paddle shifters on the streets. D mode on the freeway. Nothing too aggressive. Normally won’t pass 4k rpms that much. 2020 civic sport 2.0 Na engine. CVT... Another knock control question.

Hi everyone! I have a 2017 Civic EX 1.5 with a P0299 underboost issue. Actually, the car was fine before I resealed a leaking camshaft plate with RTV/gasket maker. After the repair, I got P0299 on the freeway. I cleared it, and since then the CEL hasn't returned, even after driving up to 80 mph. However, the car feels underpowered around 20–25 mph, while it feels normal at freeway speeds. Could something have been disturbed during the camshaft plate repair, like a vacuum/PCV hose, boost... P0299 Underboost Issue
