At the end of a day exploring Tennessee's backcountry sits a fort that disappeared over 250 years ago and the original ground it stood on is now at the bottom of a lake. Everyone kept telling me I needed to wheel Kentucky. This week I finally did in the middle of a string of thunderstorms that had the whole region soaked. In this episode of Recon America, I head into the Daniel Boone National Forest to run Spaas Creek Trail a tight, muddy, tree-lined trail that's nothing like the wheeling we do out west.
