In this video, I’m working on a 2021 Ford EcoSport with the mighty 1.0L turbo, but the real reason I’m sharing this one is because of something I’ve been noticing for several years. I see a lot of relatively new vehicles that have been oil sprayed or undercoated with products such as Fluid Film, Krown, Rust Check, Surface Shield, and similar products. In this video I’m working on a 2022 Ford EcoSport with the mighty 2.0L! I originally looked at this vehicle back during the peak of summer after the customer complained that the A/C was not working. After checking it out, I determined that the A/C compressor clutch had failed. Simple enough, right? Well, not quite. When I went to order the replacement clutch from Ford, I discovered it was on some sort of intergalactic back order with no telling when we would actually see one.
