My A/C evaporator has a leak on my 1999 Dodge van 1500 with 318 v-8. I have already replaced the compressor, condenser and receiver-dryer. It was working perfect until there was a leak in the evaporator. I have the factory service manual and it says you have to take the whole A/C housing out. This is an almost impossible task. I bet it is at least $800 in labor to take it out. A new evaporator only costs $52. This is terrible engineering design by Chrysler. I have been working for 2 days... Read more
